Groups of five or more applicants must start application process three months before their travel dates due to more complicated application rules.


Travelers to the U.S. for business or pleasure must present a valid visa and a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended duration of stay. Please note that you may use a valid visa in an old or expired passport along with a newly issued passport. Please ensure that, at any time you wish to enter the United States for business or pleasure, you have a valid visa and a passport that will be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of departure from the United States.

Each year the Kyiv Embassy’s Consular Section issues thousands of nonimmigrant visas to qualified Ukrainian applicants traveling to the United States for business, tourism, employment and educational purposes. On our Nonimmigrant Visa website you will find step by step instructions and useful links to help you apply for and receive a valid U.S. nonimmigrant visa. Please note that after November 1, 2006, all applicants for Nonimmigrant Visas must complete an Electronic Visa Application Form (DS-156 EVAF).
